If you missed last week's post about how I used Ten Flashing Fireflies to work on combinations of 10 with K-1 students, you can check it out here!
This week, I want to show you a few old favorites and share a new free favorite app with you as well. All of these are based around tangrams. I love using tangrams in the classroom and as math has become more and more standards based, I have found ways to incorporate them in other areas of the curriculum as well. I love how some kids who struggle with other math concepts really excel with geometry tasks. Tangrams are a must have in every classroom!
Have tangrams but no time to use them? Check out some of these great resources!
